Von 10.Mai bis 29.Juni 2024 öffnet im oststeirische Pöllau erneut der Hofladen von DESIGN AB HOF. Nach dem erfolgreichen Start im letzten Jahr, werden in dem saisonal geöffneten Hofladen auch heuer wieder Produkte aus dem landwirtschaftlichen Bereich sowie ausgewählte Design-Produkte von Kreativschaffenden aus der Region angeboten.
DESIGN AB HOF verbindet Landwirtschaft mit Kreativwirtschaft und möchte eine Plattform für Austausch, Inspiration und innovative Produkte sein. Während der Öffnung des zugehörigen Hofladens erwartet die Besucher:innen ein vielfältiges Programm an Veranstaltungen und Workshops, wie beispielsweise eine Kunst- und Keramik-Schau, Angebote für Yoga oder Philosophie am Bauernhof, Kreativ-Kurse oder Upcycling-Workshops für Kinder.
Innovative Produkte - „created & made in Styria”
„Auch heuer sind wieder zahlreiche Produkte von heimischen Designer:innen bei uns zu finden und es gibt viel Neues zu entdecken“, so Karin Heschl-Polzhofer. Die Marke Cerwenka präsentiert Kopfschmuck und Mode-Accessoires, oder die Marke Lenik edle Brillenetuis – beides jeweils gefertigt aus Lederresten und ganz im Sinne von Zero-Waste. Upcycling wird auch in Workshops an die Jüngsten vermittelt, so können Kinder sich unter professioneller Anleitung Schmuck und Spielsachen aus ausrangierten Materialien basteln. Design-Klassiker wie ein Hocker des renommierten Designers Thomas Feichtner sind im Hofladen ebenso zu finden wie Produkte der Marke „Goodgoods“ – ein innovativer Zusammenschluss von heimischen Designer:innen mit geschützten Werkstätten.
Natürlich kommt passend zur Landwirtschaft auch der Genuss nicht zu kurz: Neben Sirup, Marmeladen, Tees und Apfelsaft aus Eigenproduktion, gibt es beispielsweise heimischen Dosenfisch der Marke „Von Alpen“ – eine nachhaltige Alternative zu Tunfisch. Hirschbirn-Schnaps aus dem Naturpark Pöllauertal ist ebenso erhältlich wie hausgemachte Nudeln, Honig oder Naturkosmetik. Das breite Sortiment im kleinen Laden lädt zum Verweilen ein und zu einem langsamen Einkaufserlebnis.
